Prison Programmes

ATC Train Me has run a number of Creative Writing courses in prisons in the North Island.  These courses delivery literacy development material in creative ways, including song writing.

The response from the prisoners, prison staff and even the New Zealand media was very positive.

Our tutors even worked with the prisoners to record the songs and release a CD of their music.  The album is called "If these walls could speak" (pictured).  You can read more about this unique project and purchase the album at  www.prisonsongs.co.nz 

There are no prison programmes currently running, but more are likely in the future.
