Youth Training

Youth Training courses are designed youth who are:

  • 16 & 17 years old, (some 15 and 18 year olds may be eligible, ask us to check your eligibility)
  • Have left (or are leaving) school
  • Have low qualifications (less than 80 credits).

Our FREE youth courses build a fun and lively atmosphere for learning while equipping students with skills and qualifications to enter the workforce or move onto further training.

Computer Training

Gain the National Certificate in Computing Level 2 and 3 to open doors into the world of administration, computing and office jobs.

Music

Free music tuition from one of the members of ADEAZE.

Don’t stay bored at home! At this free music course, taught by Vii from Adeaze, you’ll learn to create your own music, receive hands-on tuition and theory while gaining credits towards your National Certificate in Employment Skills.  PLUS the option to get your driver’s license for free!

Retail Training

Want to work in shopping malls but don’t have retail training? Gain skills in retail and customer service and achieve the National Certificate in Employments Skills.

Available at: Hamilton

Youth Drivers Licences

Get your learners, restricted and full car license for free while you achieve the National Certificate in Employments Skills. Gain all the skills you need to choose the right career and get a job.

Available at: Pukekohe, Hamilton

Youth Work Skills

This course is focused on preparing students to be ready to enter the workforce or further training.

Students have the opportunity to:

  • Complete units towards gaining the National Certificate in Employment Skills.
  • Explore career choices
  • Gain work experience
  • Learn about CV creation
  • Receive advice on how to apply for jobs
  • Explore different ways to seek job opportunities
  • Learn job interviewing skills
  • On-the-job training that can lead to employment
  • Advice on career choices and employment pathways
  • Support with self-directed job finding.

Welding Skills

Welding Skills is an excellent stepping stone into a job or an apprenticeship.

A Youth & Adult option with an introduction to:
  • Learning how to use Gas, Arc, Mig, Tig and Oxyacetylene machines
  • Downhand welding position
